Fast Company presented an issue on "the brand called YOU" (August/September, 1997) which has the main theme of "who do you happen to be" - what do you do effortlessly, what do you bring to life. Well, as I thought about this concept, I started to explore what are my five most important traits that everyone experiences with me. The list is below and you will experience it as well when we meet.
Compassionate Collaborator - Finding "good" in everything ... even when it is not easy to see.
I get my fuel from listen and exploring new ideas that might not be clear at first. I like to help others find their personal passion, and to exploit it. While this is fun, I know I do this without thinking about it. It is creative problem solving and insightful inquisitiveness all in one.
Outrageous Enthusiasm - When I hear something that clicks, my excitement level sky rockets.
I get turned on by people and listening to their creativity explode. I get excited easily, and can envision what a person is saying with depth and breath of the meaning. I like tough assignments that push my knowledge base and like to interact with bright people.
Limitless Learner - Exploration of all possibilities in body, mind and spirit.
My life is one big lesson, with all the new concepts that make us a better individual. I'm always reading or enrolled in a learning process to provide me the insight of who I am as a person and a spiritual being. I will stop learning when my bodies dies and my soul transitions to the next stage. We are a limitless expression of spirit.
Natural Navigator - providing others a beacon on light to navigate their future.
I have never been physically lost, well only once in Brooklyn, New York in the 1984. The police escorted me out. I have always known my physical presence and how to get someplace. I have an innate sense of direction and how to get out of sticky situations in diplomatic ways. It comes naturally, with no effort at all.
Supportive Sensitivity - Being able to listen with all my senses and be supportive when the dark side of situation is very apparent.
As I move through my life, I am becoming more aware of how certain situations are a reflection of what I attract. This philosophy is true with the people I work with. My mission is to help other see the best part of the darker side when only the pain is evident. My sensitivity is a lighthouse for troubled travelers.
