I don't know the origin of this statement, though when I think about the situations in my life that gave me the most fulfillment, they were grounded from my heart. A great deal of information on passion is available. Workshops and teleclasses are abundant. Let's look at a definition from Mr. Webster's dictionary. Passion is a noun: 1) the sufferings of Christ between the night of the Last Supper and his death, 2) any emotion, as hate, love, etc. or strong feeling(s) as distinguished from reason, 3) intense emotional excitement, as rage, enthusiasm, lust, etc., 4) the object of a strong desire. This last part 'object of strong desire' sings to me. The craving of something from within ourselves that brings learning (pleasure being one of them) in the final outcome. Are we a pleasure-seeking animal? I think so!!! As I work with my clients on defining their future, I like to help them develop what they are passionate about in their lives. Passionate is the adjective that provides color and brightness to one's life. All humans have a passionate side, and it my goal to help you find yours. It can be as simple as having a stable daily routine to mountain climbing or skydiving. The event is not important! The wholesome feeling that comes from your heart to satisfy your personal desires is the nectar of life.
